Major introduction:
This master program has started enrollment since 2017. It trains students who serve the socialist modernization construction and with all-round ability in areas such as morals, intelligence, physical fitness, work and aesthetics, to master monitoring and application of natural resources and environment; combine remote sensing, satellite positioning systems, geographic information systems and other spatial information technologies with various resource disciplines; conduct data collection, measurement, analysis, storage, management, display, dissemination and application.

Matrix theory, mathematical statistics, numerical analysis, artificial intelligence and its applications, advanced agricultural engineering, multi-source remote sensing analysis, etc.

This major applies remote sensing technology to the field of resources and the environment, and conducts resource and environmental surveys, crop growth monitoring, precision agriculture, remote sensing surveys of cultivated land changes and soil erosion, ecological environment surveys and monitoring, etc., and provides reliable basic data and technical support for the application of resource and environment monitoring.
