The platform belongs to the scientific and technological innovation platform of Ministry of Natural Resources. It was originally "Land Utilization of the Ministry of Land and Resources - Luliang Field Base,Yunnan " established in November 2011. It was renamed "Field Scientific Observation and Research Station of Yunnan Intermountain Basin Land Utilization of Ministry of Natural Resources" in January 2021.
Positioning:
The platform takes Luliang, the largest terrestrial intermountain basin in Yunnan, as the main field observation site. Aiming at the complex and diverse problems of land resources and utilization in the intermountain basin area of Yunnan, the platform carries out field observation, research and teaching and application, etc., and is built into a typical scientific research demonstration platform integrating industry-university-research and application of natural resources.
Main research directions:
1) Focusing on evaluation of cultivated land quality, monitoring of “non-grain” cultivated land, diversified utilization of cultivated land, and sustainable utilization of agricultural land for facilities, etc., monitoring and evaluation of cultivated land utilization in intermountain basins are carried out.
2) Focusing on comprehensive improvement of waterlogged farmland, protection and restoration of karst ecosystems, prevention and control of non-point source pollution of agricultural land, and construction of landscape engineering, etc., researches on comprehensive land improvement and ecological protection and restoration in intermountain basins are carried out.
3) Focusing on delineation and coordination of "production-living-ecological" space, overall planning and optimization of regional urban and rural land space, implementation of rural revitalization, resource carrying and man-land harmony, researches on spatial pattern optimization of intermountain basins and man-land relationship are carried out.
