          Discipline and team building: Based on characteristic food resources such as cloud tea, cloud flower (food), cloud leg, cloud milk, cloud fruit, cloud coffee and moringa oleifera, the College conducts research on major scientific issues and key technologies of food processing and safety, and has formed 3 provincial key disciplines: Provincial key discipline -- Animal Food Science, provincial key construction discipline of Advantages and Characteristics -- Food Science and Engineering, university-level key discipline -- Agricultural product processing and Storage Engineering; 1 Key Laboratory of Pu 'er Tea Science, Ministry of Education; 3 provincial engineering centers: Yunnan Provincial Engineering Research Center for Intensive And Deep Processing of Special Animal Products, Yunnan Provincial Engineering Research Center for Processing of Agricultural Products, and Yunnan Provincial Engineering And Technology Research Center for Deep Processing of Tea; One provincial collaborative Innovation center, one provincial experimental Teaching center, yunnan Institute of Food Safety Management and other important supporting platforms, one key laboratory of Yunnan Universities: Key Laboratory of Food Processing and Safety; There is a joint training base for graduate education innovation in Yunnan Province and a provincial innovation team for tea factor and tea efficacy research in Yunnan Agricultural University. According to the needs of discipline development, four research directions of "food resources and nutrition and health", "processing and storage of agricultural products", "Food chemistry and Nutrition metabolism" and "food safety and information technology" have been set up and corresponding research teams have been set up in combination with yunnan's resource advantages, location advantages and ethnic cultural advantages. The four teams have 58 teachers, including 25 professors, 9 doctoral supervisors, 70.7% under the age of 45, 84.5% with a doctoral degree, and 41.4% with overseas study experience of more than 10 months.
